Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

Granted that we are talking about one of the most renowned and dreamy hotels on Lake Como, fascinating regardless and renowned throughout the world, it is undoubtedly also one of the best family hotels in the area.

Among the countless services on offer, I have in fact identified some that definitely wink at those travelling with children. Certainly the most interesting are the babysitting service, the beautiful indoor swimming pool with slide and heated water, an outdoor play area and baby equipment available to guests. Let’s say they know perfectly how to please those who choose to stay with them!

Camping Europa, Domaso

Camping Europa

Definitely of a different kind, but no less interesting for the comforts dedicated to families is Camping Europa, in Domaso. It consists of a hotel with rooms also for families, 12 bungalows, with capacity for 4 persons and a campsite with 60 pitches.

Also known as the Family Village of Lake Como, the vocation of this facility to welcoming children and young people is evident. Among the various services on offer are the breakfast corner dedicated to the little ones with tarts, plum-cakes and cereals, the children’s swimming pool, heated in the cooler months, and the large indoor play area available from 08.00 to 23.00, with games for all ages including slides, playhouses, cars, table football, table tennis, etc.

Zertin Farmhouse, Gravedona

Run by a couple with their two children, it is the perfect location for all those families who love nature and are fond of long bike rides or beautiful walks!

It is a corner of paradise surrounded by greenery and the silence of the woods, situated at an altitude of 800 m and with a breathtaking view of the lake. Certainly the swimming pool is also very popular with children, but do you know what the real ace up the sleeve of this charming farmhouse is? Its animals, of course! It is a breeding farm and here cows, goats, sheep, lambs, pigs, donkeys and rabbits can all be seen and cared for by guests. Real music to the ears of the little ones, but not only!

Camping La Grande Quiete, Sorico

Camping La Grande Quiete

If you are looking for a place to sleep with children on Lake Como, this campsite could also be a good solution for you.

Why would I recommend it?

Firstly because it is surrounded by greenery, in the cool of a beautiful pine forest. Secondly because here too there is a small indoor playground. Third because it has a fantastic beach made entirely of natural sand, unique in the upper lake area, with a gently sloping seabed and perfect for children! And if all this were not enough, keep in mind that there is also a surf school for adults and children, where you can learn and practice windsurfing, kitesurfing, Sup, canoeing and sailing. In short, a true paradise for families!
